Department of Science & Humanities
The Department of Humanities comprises disciplines such as English, Economics,
Management, Counselling and the two federal departments of Placement & Training
and Physical Education. It addresses skill gaps between academias output and
organizations requirements by making the graduating engineers competent in
communication and interpersonal skills.
The department consists of well
experienced faculty members who are highly rated in their own respective areas.
Faulty communication, skimpy etiquette and scanty team skills have ruined the
chances of many an engineering student in clearing placement interviews. ts.
Apart from regular classes and tests the department also organizes training
programmes for the faculty, staff and students.
One of the focal points of
students training is good manners. Counselling of students is effectively taken
care of on a regular basis. One-to-one counselling strengthens the unsteady and
fickle-minded ones and makes them systematic and confident.The department is
successfully imparting knowledge in diverse subjects to the students to make
them more competitive so that they can face the challenges not only in technical
field but also in other fields effectively.

by the department are Principles of Management, Economics, English and
Communication skills, Organizational Behavior, Sociology, Accountancy and so on.
